Be your own detective and uncover all of the hidden sugars in your food! See the internet resource available for download below.
My favorite part of the new additions to the food label is the “added sugars” section. This is the area of the label where big food has to share with us the sugars they have added to the food that are not natural sugars in the food. Pay special attention to this section! Remember for every 4 grams of sugar you see on the label it is equivalent to 1 teaspoon of sugar! For example if you have 12 grams of sugar in the total sugars it equals 3 teaspoons of sugar. If you have 20 grams of sugar in the total sugars it equals 5 teaspoons of sugar, etc.
Download this amazing web resource so you can find all those pesky hidden sugars the food companies are cleverly hiding in your food.
